Help Needed with Loyola High School Service Project for Talpa School

April 2, 2015 by Bryan Grassmann

Loyola High School has committed to serve Talpa School as part of their 150th Anniversary celebration. Their goal is to have their young men serve alongside the members of the community where the project is being done. So, we need parents who are willing to come and help on Saturday, April 11 at 9 a.m. Loyola High School will do the following projects with us:

  • Paint and repair the wall around The Cage
  • Weed the hillside behind The Cage and plant ground cover

Loyola will provide the materials for the repairs as well as their own students and parents to help with the repairs. And we need to come and work with them! The service project will take more than one weekend to complete, and Loyola is committed to completing the project in two to three weekends. If we get enough people, we can even trim the bushes along the Savanah Street fence and power wash the building. This is a great way to get your hours started for next year!

Please call the school office – 323-261-0583 – to RSVP! Thank you!
