Countdown to Our Lady of Talpa 75th Anniversary
Dear Friends,
In the fall of 1951, Our Lady of Talpa School first opened its doors to educate children from the Boyle Heights community of Los Angeles. This year, the school is celebrating its 75th anniversary! We are grateful for the generous support of the Daughters of Charity who have tirelessly served our school community since day one. The Daughters of Charity Foundation’s prayers, financial support, and gift of service, have allowed our students to achieve the tremendous academic growth, deep faith life, and well-rounded foundation that they have today. We would like to honor the Daughters, and all friends, benefactors and alumni who, during the past 75 years, have invested in the success of our school.
Save the date for the 75th Anniversary celebration at Talpa School on Saturday, September 19th with Mass at 11am and festivities to follow. More details will be shared soon. If you are interested in helping to plan or contribute to the event, please email talpa75th@talpaschool.
